Iconic Canadian recording artist Jann Arden announces today that she will be hitting the road this year with tour dates nationwide in support of her latest album, MIXTAPE. Produced by Live Nation Canada, the newly announced 12-date run kicks off on May 30 in Halifax at Scotiabank Centre, with stops in London, Ottawa and Toronto, before heading west for shows in Edmonton and Calgary and wrapping up in Vancouver, BC.
MIXTAPE, the follow-up to her 2021 release Descendant, was released today—Friday, January 31—via Universal Music Canada, the country's leading music company. The album will be available on CD, LP, Cassette, standard, Hi-Res, + ATMOS digital formats. Recorded in Calgary between both Broom Closet and OCL Chestermere Studios and produced by longtime collaborator, Russell Broom (Kyle McKearney, Art Bergmann), the album features some of Jann’s favourite nineties pop recordings from the likes of Sia, Seal, Joan Osborne, Robyn, Don Henley, Chris Isaac, and others.
