Access to FirstOntario Concert Hall (formally Hamilton Place)  is through our main entrance on Summers Lane. The Studio can be accessed through our main entrance on Summers Lane.

In November 2023, Oak View Group (OVG), Hamilton Urban Precinct Entertainment Group (HUPEG), and the City of Hamilton announced that they have signed a deal to begin major renovations on FirstOntario Centre, a venue that will be the centerpiece in revitalizing the city’s position as a premier music, sports and entertainment destination for southwestern Ontario in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.  Hamilton Arena (Formerly FirstOntario Centre) is now closed and undergoing renovations, and is not open to the public. Construction will be completed in Fall 2025. 

FirstOntario Concert Hall

Please be aware that the orchestra,  first and secondary balcony seating sections are not wheelchair assessible. Accessible seating is available on the mezzanine level of FirstOntario Concert Hall and can be accessed via the elevator and/or ramp.

The Studio

The Studio does not require elevators or escalators to access venue 

All service animals are welcome at all of our venues with proper documentation. Please notify your ticket taker at time of purchase if an aisle seat is required for your service animal.

 Hearing Assist Devices can be located at coat check at FirstOntario Concert Hall (formally Hamilton Place). We regret to inform you that Hearing Assist Devices are not available for Studio events. You will be asked to leave your credit card or photo identification as a deposit.
